Merle Anita Young, daughter of Peter L. Young and Mary Belle Register, was born 
on 10 Jan 1926 in Homerville, GA. She was reared in Jasper, Hamilton county, 
Florida where she was a long time resident. She was the mother of five 
children: William Lester Coleman, Elwood R. Coleman, Jr., John Allen Coleman, 
Marie Antoinette Coleman, and James Michael Coleman. She died 10 Nov 1986 and 
at her request was buried in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery, in Hamilton 
co., FL. where her parents are also interred.
