Patrick D. Counts

LAKE PLACID, Fla. -- Patrick D. Counts, 61, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, in Naples.
Born in Tazewell, Va., he had been a Hardee County resident since he was nine. 
He attended First Baptist Church of Wauchula and was a professional truck driver 
for National Freight, Inc., in Orlando.  He was a graduate of Western Kentucky 
University where he lettered in football and was a 37-year member of the Wauchula Elks
Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Harrison Counts; one son, Todd Counts of Maui, Hawaii; 
two stepsons, Peck Harris of Wauchula and Glen Harris III of Gainesville; one brother,
Tilden M. (Tim) Counts, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; and one sister, Dr. Suzanne Faust of
Las Vegas, Nev.

Funeral services will be held Friday in Wauchula.  Memorials may be made to Feed The 
Children.  Arrangements by Robarts Family Funeral Home, Inc., Wauchula, Fla.
