O'Neill which occurred at her home last Friday. Mrs. O'Neill and her husband came to this county about nineteen years ago. They brought no capital with them but industry. Since then they have raised a large orange grove which brought them last year over $1,500 and over twelve hundred boxes of oranges have just been shipped from it. Mrs. O'Neill had been in very poor health for over a year but until a few days before her death had been able to be about the house. She leaves a husband and several children to mourn her loss, who have our sincerest sympathy. Her remains were interred near those of her son in the grove which she and her husband had worked so hard to bring to its present productiveness. Additional Comments: This notice was found in a section labelled "Denaud Dots" In 1900 Fort Denaud was a part of Lee County. It became a part of Hendry County in 1923.
