By the authority of Article 6, of the revised constitution United Confederate Veterans, the Major General Commanding the Florida Division announces the following staff officers to serve until the expiration of his term of service, viz: Adjutant-General and Chief of Staff, Fred L. Robertson, Brooksville Quartermaster-General, T. D. Lancaster, Ocala Inspector-General, W. C. Bird, Monticello Judge Advocate-General, E. Badger, Ocala Commissary-General, J. F. Baya, Lake City Surgeon-General, R. Berrien Burroughs, Jacksonville Chaplain, Rev. Frank Johnson, Micanopy Aids C. E. Merrill, Jacksonville Jno E. Hanna, Jasper D. E. Maxwell, Fernandina Jno. T. Leslie, Tampa W. R. Moore, Welborn R. B. Weeks, Hawthorn J. B. Johnson, Dade City P. W. Sparkman, Waldo F. W. Merrin, Plant city H. L. Mitchell, Tampa A. J. Russell, Tallahassee H. W. Long, Ocala Robert Gorman, Tallahassee Leonard Dozier, Ocala W. D. Chipley, Pensacola E. J. Vann, Madison George Reese, Pensacola Jno L. Inglis, Madison W. C. Patten, Palmetto W. D. Jewell, Orlando Jno. W. Malone, Quincy M. R. Cooper, St Augustine Jno. C. Davant, Brooksville J. B. Oliveres, St Augustine Frank E. Saxon, Brooksville J. A. Enslow, Jr, St Augustine Jno. F. Dunn, Ocala S. C. Tucker, Tallahassee Jno. M. Martin, Ocala Thos. F. King, Gainesville S. F. Rou, Reddick 2. Col. T. D. Lancaster is designated as Treasurer of the division. 3. These officers will immediately enter upon their duties and will be obeyed and respected accordingly. 4. The Major General desires to earnestly impress upon his staff the importance of a thorough organizatrion of the Confederate soldiers throughout the state and to ask their cordial co-operatrion in the work and also to ask all Confederate veterans to aid in the formation of camps where none exist and the gathering into the camps already formed, of all their comrades. The advantages of association are so apparent as to need no argument. History has been made, but on the survivors of the southern cause rests the solemn duty of correcting and handing down to posterity the records of the glorious past. By order of J.
