He is surived by his loving wife Julia M. Rodriguez; and previously married to Mercedes Celeya Bravo for 38 years; daughters, Agna Bravo and Loraine Bravo Snead (David); step-children, Mario J. Medina, Cindy Helm (Jim), Linda Sanpedro, Charles Fieger (Lorilee); grandchildren, Danilo Atenza, Matthew Medina, James Richard Medina; brother Osvaldo Munoz; sister, Olga Bravo; and many nieces and nephews. Ricardo came from Havana (Regla) Cuba in 1950 to play professional baseball with the Washington Senators. He was thereafter in the U.S. Army touring Europe in the Athletic League. He then came to Tampa after playing Grapefruit Baseball for several years throughout the United States. He worked for the Tampa Ship & Repair for 27 years at which time he retired. He was an avid fisherman and loved baseball--those were his true passions. He was a great husband, father, and friend. He is forever resting at Bay Pines Veterans' Cemetry in St. Petersburg, Florida.
