John Davis Hart, 77, of Plant City. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie E.; 
son, Kenneth Dale of Leesburg; step-son, Robert Clements of Plant City; Step-
daughters, Carol Lewis of Kansas City, Mo., Donna Chastain of Leesburg, Lois 
Rauchle of Dallas, Texas, Dorothy Hill of Lynn Haven, Ruby Maxwell of Plant 
City, and Ava Armstrong of Orlando; brother, Henry of Vidalia, Ga.; 11 
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired Lake county deputy sheriff;former chief of police in Fruitland 
Park and former chief of police in Ty Ty, Ga.

He was also an Army veteran of World War II.

Graveside services held at Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park with the Rev. L. E. 
Ward officiating.

Masonic graveside services conducted by the Leesburg Lodge, No. 58 A&FM
