Mrs. Elizabeth Heiter, 69, of Palm River, died yesterday in a hospital. A 
native of Jefferson County, Florida, she had resided here for 40 years and is 
survived by her husband, George C. Heiter, Tampa; a son, J.J. Heiter, Tampa; 
four daughters, Mrs. E.O. Johnson, Mrs. H. Ryals, Mrs. J.E. Wilson and Mrs 
H.L. Anderson, Tampa; four brothers D.T. Phillips and C.J. Phillips, Wildwoo; 
A.L. Phillips, Macon, Ga; and J.F. Phillips, Douglasville, Ga; three sisters, 
Mrs. H. Miulcher, Tampa; Mrs. L.P. Hickman, Thomaston, Ga; and Mrs. J.F. 
Fomby, Forsythe, Ga; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
(2). Mrs Elizabeth Heiter, 69, of Palm River, passed away in a local hospital. 
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the F.T. Blount 
Company Funeral Home with Rev. H.C. Hinton of Gary Church of Christ 
officiating Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The following grandsons 
will act as pallbearers: H. Ryals, Jr, E. H. Ryals, E.B. Morgan, Julian 
Hickman, Elmo Phillips, and J.F. Ragsdale. Mrs. Heiter is survived by her 
husband, George C. Heiter of Tampa, a son J.J. Heiter of Tampa, four 
daughters, Mrs. E.O. Johnson, Mrs. H. Ryals, Mrs. J.E. Wilson and Mrs. H. I. 
Anderson of Tampa; four brother, D.T. Phillips and C.J. Phillips of Wildwood, 
A.L. Phillips of Macon, Ga., and J.F. Phillips of Douglasville, Ga; three 
sisters, Mrs. H. Milcher of Tampa, Mrs. L.P. Hickman of Thomaston, Ga, Mrs. 
J.F. Fomby of Forsythe, Ga, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
