Tampa Tribune, December 27, 1956
(1). George Clifford Heiter, 80, of Palm River, passed away yesterday in a 
local restorium. He is survived by  one son J.J. Heiter of Tampa; four 
daughters, Mrs. Grace Sweat, Mrs. Mabel Diez, Mrs. Harvey Ryals, and Mrs. Esta 
Mae Anderson, all of Tampa; one brother, Alois Heiter, Tampa, and two sisters, 
Mrs. W.G. Bradley and Mrs. Mary Yeager, both of Tampa, Funeral services will 
be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the chapel of the F. T. Blount 
Company Funeral Home with The Rev. M.C. Cleveland, pastor of the First 
Methodist Church, officiating. Active pallbearers are Harvey Ryals, Jr., 
Earnest H. Ryals, Fred H. Langley, James E. Wilson, Clyde V. Stephens, and 
Edgar B. Morgan. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
(2). George Clifford Heiter, 80, of Palm River, died yesterday in a Tampa 
restorium. A native of New York, he had resided in Hillsborough County for the 
last 38 years. Before his retirment, he was employed as a millwright. He is 
survived by one son, J.J. Heiter of Tampa; four daughters, Mrs. Grace Sweat, 
Mrs. Mabel Diez, Mrs. Harvey Ryals, and Mrs. Esta Mae Anderson, all of Tampa, 
one brother, Alois Heiter, Tampa, and two sisters, Mrs W.G. Bradley and Mrs. 
Mary Yeager, both of Tampa.

*George Clifford Heiter is the great uncle-in-law of Submitter. He was married 
to Rebecca Elizabeth Phillips Heiter, Submitter's great aunt.
