Thomas Henry King, 50th Virginia Infantry, CSA. Was captured at the battle of 
Spotsylvania Court House, Va., May 12, 1864. Spent time at Lookout Point, Md., 
(prison for confederates), then to Elmira, N. Y. where he was paroled June 
1865, after Gen., R. E.Lee surrendered to U.S.Grant, April 9, 1865. Thomas took 
an oath. He had to walk home 300 miles.
