Muster roll for September and October, 1864, last roll on file, shows him present. He was paroled at Burkesville Junction, Virginia about April 15, 1865 Signed: James F. R. Bolin, who, being by me first duly sworn, deposes and says that he knew John L. Moss during his lifetime; that the said John L. Moss departed this life in Geneva County on June 11th, 1917 on the farm of affiant, and affiant avers that he was present frequently during the last illness of the said John L.
