D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and thirty-two, personally appeared before me a notary public in and for the County and State aforesaid Fannie Fulkerson a resident of Vero Beach County of Indian River State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of the General Pension Laws of Florida. That she is the lawful widow of William W. Fulkerson who enlisted under the name of William W. Fulkerson on the 19th day of April, 1863, in Company I, 27th Battalion Regiment of the State of Virginia Mounted Rifleman and who was honorably discharged at Cumberland Gap, Kentucky, April 28th, 1865, on account of war closed, I presume. That he also served Company G, 25th Regiment Virginia, Calvary, C. S. A. (Here state if husband drew a pension, and when.) Tennessee Pension under No. 7296. 1905 That she was lawfully married to the said William W. Fulkerson under the name of Fannie Keefer in the County of Jasper State of Ill. on the ____ day of ____, 1908, and she was not divorced from him before nor has she remarried since his death, which occurred on the 24 day of January, 1912, in the County of Green, State of Indiana except as hereinafter stated. Never divorced nor remarried. That she is a resident of Indian River County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the year 1917. That she was heretofore granted a pension from the State of Florida under Certificate No. ____. That she is not a pensioner of any other State. Edmundson was Lieutenant Colonel of the 25th Regiment Virginia Cavalry, Confederate States Army, and Thomas S. Gibson was Captain of Company G, of that regiment. The records show that William W. Fulkerson, private, Company I, above named regiment, enlisted April 18, 1863, in Lee County, Virginia. He was transferred June 18, 1863, to Company G, same regiment. Muster roll for June 30, 1863 to October 31, 1864, shows him "ordered to be dropped August 1, 1864." His name is not borne on one subsequent muster roll for November and December, 1864. He was paroled April 28, 1865, at Cumberland Gap, Kentucky. C. H.
