Surveyed: October 20 & 21,  1999

Directions: Leave Marianna, FL on Hwy 73 south and go to Hwy 278 (Laramore
Road). Turn right and go 4.4 miles to Dipper Road (dirt). Turn left and go
.4 mile to old church and cemetery.

Hickory Level Church, was a small one room, wood built and a tin roof church.
It has not been used in many years and the outside is beginning to have a 
decrepit look. The interior still looks good. In December 1978 blueprints
were made for a bigger church. The cement floor was poured and some blocks 
put up for the walls but construction stopped and never resumed. This church 
was to be built behind the old church.

There are 49 graves without identification.
There are 11 graves with names but no dates.

Note: d/s means double head stone.
