Sneads who maintains the cemetery. Directions: In Sneads, FL, turn right off hwy 90 onto River Rd North. Go 11 miles. Cemetery is on right side of road. There is a sign on chain link fence. Behind this sign is an old church, wood structure which is in process of rotting down. The cemetery is located back of the building. In the yesterdays of long years ago this area could have rightfully been called Owens Community. Now one can only wonder where they could have gone. It's all woods now. There are three graves marked with PVC pipe crosses. There are three graves with limestone markers with the only thing readable: Owens, July 1869. One grave with marker, only thing on it: T H L.
