Go .6 mile and turn left on Iowa Street. Cemetery is about 100 feet and on the right. It is a large fenced in plot with a large cement mausoleum with a slanted cement roof. It would be six feet from the ground to the top of the roof of the mausoleum. The mausoleum is in the center of lot. On the front it has a plaque: PORTER, John Thomas, b. May 30 1836 d. Apr 13 1918 PORTER, Phebe Jane, b. Jul 25 1840 d. Nov 30 1917 "Founders of Grand Ridge, Fla 1889" "How Grand Ridge got it's name: Because of where they came from, Grand Ridge, Illinois."
