Gray Building Tallahassee, FL 32399-0250 Monticello Oct 27 1839 Messr Kirkman Abernathy & Hanna Gentlemen I have shipt to you 115 bales long cotten and want you to take your pay out of the procedes the balance due you for the former Shipment made to Govenor Call and then ship for us the folowing articles to wit 70 barrels of Mess Pork and 100 barels of Hard Bread 2000 Bushels of Corn 50 Barels of flower 8 barels of sugar 6 sacks of coffee 75 bundles of hay 10 boxes of soap 5 boxes candles 2 barels Vinegar Please ship these articles to P. H. Swanne & co St Marks and if the cotten don't cover the bill we will ship cotten to you for the balance as soon as your bill come to hand. I want the articles of the best quality. I have agread to load the Van Buran back and if this comes to hand please have the articles redy for her on her arrival so as to not delay her there for we want them and give her a quick dispatch.
