On this 19 day of December AD one thousand eight hundred and ninety two, personally appeared before me a Notary Public within and for the County and State aforesaid, SUSAN A WOODS..Age 76 years, a resident of Villa City, in the State of Florida, who, being duly sworn according to law, declares that she is the widow of THOMAS J WOODS, deceased, who was the identical person who served under the name THOMAS J WOODS, as a Private in the Company commanded by Captain ROWL, afterwards under Captain LANGFORD Regiment of Olfords ENOCH H commanded by ENOCH KALE, in the Seminole Indian War., that her said husband enlisted at Monticella Fla, on or about the 15th day of May, AD 1839, for the term of 3 to 6 months, and was discharged at Monticella Fla. on the 1st day of September AD 1839. That at the time of entering the service claimed for, her husband was 35 years of age. 5 feet ten inches in height, with black eyes, light hair, light complexion, by occupation a Farmer, and that he was born in the County of Tattnall, State of Georgia. That after leaving the service, he resided at Monticella, Florida for 2 years. Madison Fla. for 18 years. That she was married to him on the 2 April AD 1833 at Lowndes Co. Ga, by MATTHEW ALBRITTON, under the name of SUSAN A ALBRITTON. That said husband died at Cedar Keys, Fla, on the 13 day of Sept. AD 1864. That she has not herefore made application for Pension. That she is a citizen of the United States, and makes this application for the purpose of obtaining a Pension under the provisions of the Act approved July 27, 1892, and she hereby appoints SOULE & CO. of Washington DC, her true and lawful Attorneys.
