Walter B. "Barney" Ballance, 77, of Mount Dora. Survivors include his sons, 
Walter B. Jr. of Jackson and Frank E. of Orlando; sister, Francis Hawkins of 
Merritt Island; and three grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a mechanic at a Ford dealership and a Lutheran. He was a member of an 
Elks Lodge in Jackson, Mich. and servedin the U.S.Coast Guard.
