Jesse Willard Baumgardner, 85. of Fruitland Park. Survivors include his wife, 
Ina J.; two sons, Phillip F. of Jacksonville, David L. of Ft. Pierce; two 
daughters, Sandra F. Averitt of Groveland, Ava F. McCarthy of Ipswich, Mass.; 
and Ellen Baumgardner; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Averitt and Jim McCarthy; 
eleven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.



Additional Comments:
He was a retired U.S. Navy captain, a veteran of World War II and the Korean 
War. 

Funeral services held at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ivan G. Corbin 
and Carl Smith officiating. 

Interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
