George Oakley Belt, 77, died Oct. 27, 2010, after a long battle with bone 
cancer.He was born April 16, 1933 and raised in Lola, Ky, to James Harrison 
and Illa Cenia Belt (deceased), until he moved to Chicago where he worked and 
later retired from Roadway Express after 20 years of service, moving to 
Florida  and lived a happy life until his death.

Additional Comments:
He leaves behind his wife,Eva Belt, after 40 years of marriage; loving sons; 
Jason Oakley, Florida; Terry, Kentucky; Mike Kentucky; daughter, Cindy Belt-
Neira, Indiana; lovely granddaughter, Chelsea, Indiana; grand sons; Mike 
Rollins, Ohio; Cody Neira, Indiana; Jared Belt, Kentucky; great-grandson, 
Hunter James; brothers, Ollie Belt, (deceased)Roy , Jewell, Kenneth, Don, all 
of Ketucky and sisters Ruby Grisham (deceased); Lucille Sites, Velva Walker, 
all of Indiana; along with numerous nieces, nephews, coousins & friends and 
the 2 dogs he loved so much, Angel and Cookie. 

Georges desire was to be donated to Science so that others would benefit from 
medical research and teaching.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at their home. The 
first service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and a second service at 2:30 p.m. Eva 
Belts brother,Reverend Jack Hudgens will officiate at both services.
