John V. Bender, 86, of Leesburg. Survivors include his sons, James of 
Temperance, Mich., Jack of Toledo, and Tom of Lambertville, Mich.; daughters, 
Joyce Izzi of Rossford, Ohio and Geraldine Russel of Toledo; one sister 
Harriett Appleby of Toledo; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a nursing service supervisor for the state of Michigan.

A member of the Union Congregational church of Tavares.
