Survivors include his wife, Daisy Brinson of Leesburg; daughters, Annie Lee Tompkins of Tampa, Annie Bell Williams, Doris Tucker, Elizabeth Parker, all of Leesburg, Ruby Parsons of Jacksonvile and Christine Scott of Jonesboro, Ga.; sons, Samuel James Brinson of Lady Lake, Robert Brinson of Wooster, Ohio, Freddie Brinson of Leesburg, Samuel Brinson of Campbell, Calif., Benjamin Brinson of Orlando, Eddie Lee Brinson of key West, and Johnny Brinson of Orlando; sister, Christine Chamblis of New York; 68 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great- grandchildren. Additional Comments: He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Stephen AME Church, Leesburg. Funeral services held at the church with the Rev. H. L. Postell conducting.
