 James M. Burks, 72, of Leesburg. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; son, 
Carey Bryant of Conyers, Ga.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired law enforcement officer in Rockdale County, He was also a 
Protestant and a veteran of the U.S. Sir Force during the Korean Conflict.



Memorial services held at Hawthorne of Leesburg with Rev. William Thompson 
officiating.
