Campbell, 79, of Eustis. Survivors include his wife, Nellie; six sons, Thomas, of Vinton, Ohio, Don of Eustis, Ron of Bellview, John of St. Petersburg, Glenn of Howey-in-the-Hills, and Dustin of Ocala; three daughters, Linda Hawks of Wylie, Texas, Nella Smith of Bidwell, Ohio, and Aetha Waler of Ocala; brother, David of Lexington, Ky.; three sisters, Verna May of Pikeville, Ky., Esta Tackett of Pikeville, and Lena Coleman of Pikeville; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist. He was disabled during the war and received a Purple Heart Ribbon with Oak Leaf Clustr. Also a part of the Normandy campaign. Funeral services held at the funeral home. Interment at Florida National cemetery, Bushnell, with full military honors. Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis.
