Charles Henry Childs, Jr.. 77, of Howey-in-the-Hills. Survivors include his 
wife, Lynda A. three sons, Mick and Kirk both of Atlanta; and Steve of Winston-
Salem, N.C.; step son Jack McLemore of Euless, Texas; brother, Jerry of Dallas; 
sister, Frances Weatherton of Tifton, Ga.; seven grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired vice president of Texas Sun Shield and a member of Howey 
Community church.

Also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Memorial services held at the church with the Rev. Robert Merrell officiating.

Inurnment at Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Howey-in-the-Hills
