Joseph William Crawford, 78, of Groveland. Survivors include his wife Lucille 
of Groveland; sons, Mike Gerber of South Bend, Ind.; Charlie Bates of 
Groveland; Wayne and Richard Brown of Groveland; daughters, Shirley Williams 
and Margie Grimes, both of Mascotte; Lolita Norton of Leesburg, Joyce Ann Young 
of Tennessee, Edwina Howard of Clermont and Michelle Spielman of Orlando; 
sister, Beatrice Turner of Lynchburg, Va.; 23 grandchildren and several great-
grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was the owner of Crawford Construction and a Pentecostal and a U. S. Army 
veteran of World War II.



Funeral services held at the funeral home, with Pastor Richard T. Whitten 
officiating. 



Interment at Fender Cemetery in Groveland
