Fred Dengler, 85, of Astor. Survivors include his wife, Maxine; son, Richard 
of Chickamauga, Ga.; daughter, Beverly Overly of Astor; step-sons William 
Smith of Phoenix and Robert Smith of Pompano Beach; step-daughter Roberta 
Malcolm of Sunrise; sister Irma Mahan of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired elevator installer for Eastern Elevator,  and a member of 
First Baptist Church of Astor.

Also past-president of Astor Volunteer Fire Department.
