John Washington Eason Sr., 92, of Weirsdale. Survivors include his wife, 
Geraldine L. of Weirsdale; a son, John W. 'Jack' Jr. of Wauchula, Fla.; a 
daughter, Mary Elizabeth Baxley of Weirsdale; a stepson, Donald C. Crosby, Jr. 
of Bowling Green, Fla.; stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Hendricks of Huntsville, 
Linda Gail Porterfield of Bartow, Fla.; and Donna Suzette McClean of 
Middleburg, Fla.; brother and sister, J.B. Eason Sr. and Murceil Deibler of 
Chesapeake, Va.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-
great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a  retired owner and operator of several vegetable packing houses.



 Also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fruitland Park. 



Services held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fruitland Park with Pastor 
Robert Mullis officiating. 



Interment at New Hope Cemetery, Wauchula, Fla.
