Effie B. Hanson, 92, of Leesburg, Florida, died Saturday, Nov. 6,2010. She was 
born Sept 8, 1918 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is survived by her son, 
Robert (Diana) Washburn of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Judith Anne (Paul) 
Ciance of Leesburg and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Hanson was  retired secretary for the Shrewsbury, Ma fire Department and 
a member of the Shrewsbury Congregational Church,an avid fan of the Red Sox, 
loved crafts, sewing and knitting.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Irving Washburn and John Hanson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with burial at Mountain View 
Cemetery in Shrewsbury, Ma. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice 
Foundatioon, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, Fl. 32778.
