Marie Owenby Hardesty, 70, of Leesburg. Survivors include her son, J.C. of 
Mount Dora; daughter, Pamela Chavis of Fruitlan Park; brothers, Clyde Owenby 
of Leesburs, Charles Owenby of Modesto, Calif., Ralph Owenby of Leesburg, Bob 
Owenby of Ocala; sisters, Polly Jones of Leesburg and Lorene Owenby of 
Orlando; and eight grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She was retired manager of Leesburg Communications and was a member of Christ 
United Methodist Church.

Funeral services held at the funeral home chapel with Rev. George A. Starling 
officiating.

Interment in Lone Oak Cemetery, Leesburg.
