Alvina J. Houdek, 96, of Sorrento died in Eustis. Survivors include her sons, 
Bruce of Howey-in-the-Hills, Earl of Saline, Mich., and John D. of Amherst, 
Wis.; daughters, Violette A. Steinke of Sorrento; brothers, Arthur Snyder of 
Indian Head Park, Ill., John Snyder of Delavan, Wis., and Frank Snyder of 
Clintonville, Wis.; sister, Mae Kinel of Lyons, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She was a private secretary for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and s member of Unity 
Village in Missouri.
