Laura Brown Jones, 99, of Mount Dora. Survivors include her son, Oscar, Sr. of 
Mount Dora; sisters, Mozellie Hunter and Arlene Williams both of Samson, Ala., 
Essie Mae Wood of Lakewood; N.J., Dora Lee Austin of Wilmington, Del. and 
Charlie Mitchell of Mims; 17 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 32 great-
great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She was a homemaker and a deaconess at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in 
Mount Dora.



Funeral services held at the Church and burial in Edgewood Cemetery in Moount 
Dora. Marvin C. Zanders Funeral Home, Apopka.
