Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, Stephen of Coloma, Mi.; two daughters Kathleen Cluth of Bordon, Ind., and Donna Peters of Umatilla; three brothers, Robert, of Melbourne, Fla., Alvin of Orlando and John of St. Cloud, Fla.; four sisters, Bertha Altman of Hialeah, Myrtle Eddy of St. Cloud, Mabel Rogers of Ocoee and Alice Shipp of Auguata, Ga.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: He was a universal repairman and served in the U.S. Air force during World War II and was a B-29 pilot and awarded the Air Medal with four Oak Clusters, the distinguished Flying Cross and the Good Conduct Medal with five Bronze Loops and a commendation for Meritorious Service with the 504th Bomber Group on the island of Tinian.
