Martin C. Kirkland Jr.,69, of San Jose, Calif. Survivors include his mother, 
Myrtle G. of Eustis; brother, Perry A. of Eustis; sisters, Marilyn K. Davis of 
Eustis and Janelle K. Kicks of Florence, S.C.; two nephews; four nieces; and 
seven great-nieces and nephews.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired educator for Santa Clara County Public Schools and was an 
Episcopalian.

He was born in Eustis and moved to California in 1970.

He was active in community outreach organizations and was a U.S.Army veteran 
of the Korean War serving as a diplomatic aide.
