James Melbourne Knight, 85,of Clermont. Survivors include his wife, Veretha L.; 
four sons, Jerry of Bonita Sp0rings, Bruce of Mobile Ala., Tex Boyett of 
Clermont and Dale Boyett of Polk City; four daughters, sherri Wells and Donna 
Knight of Coliorado Springs, Colo., and Virginia Kelley and Marilyn Hambly, 
both of Dade City; one brother, Williard Knight of Gainesville; one sister, 
Virginia Bagley of Apple Valey, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was retired form the U.S. Marine Corp, and a member of Green Pond Baptist 
Church. 

Funeral services held at the Church with Pastors Claude Walker and Burt 
Harbison officiating.

Interment in Green Pond Cemetery.
