Duane J. Lawhead, 79, of Tavares. Survivors include his wife, Fay; sons, Dennis 
J. of Eaton Rapids, Mich., and David J. of Onstead, Mich.; daughter, Dorothy J. 
Parsley of Grand Island; step-daughters, Beth Seitenright of Tavares, Anita L. 
Chateauneuf of Franklin, N.H., Ester Emswiler of Battle Creek, Mich.; step-son, 
Steven L. Sieg of Kilauea, Hawaii; 11 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a sheet metal mechanic and a Methodist.



He was an Army Air Corps serving the 305th BG (H). and was a tail gunner of a B-
17 stationed in England and participated in 20 bombing missions over Germany.
