Maxine G. Major, 73, of Leesburg. Survivors include her husband, Alfred; sons, 
James Chatman of Gainesville, Alfred Major of Live Oak, Charles Caldwell, Hardy 
graham and Henry Graham, all of Leesburg, and Tyrone Major of Oklahoma City; 
daughters, Gloria Chatman of Clermont, Norma Dantzla of Jacksonville and Evonne 
Major of Eustis; 39 grandchildren and 39 Great-grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
She worked as a cook for Lake County Schools and attended Mt Ararat 
Metropolitan Baptist Church.



Funeral services held at Citadel of Hope in Leesburg with Bishop  Dannie L. 
Williams officiating. 



Burial in Shady Oaks Cemetery, Leesburg.
