John L. Massie, 85, of Leesburg. Survivors include his wife, Madelyn; daughter, 
Jane Bohannon of Bellville, Ill.; brother George of Greenville, Ill,; two 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired chemical engineer with the U.S. government and a member of 
First Baptist Church in Tavares.



He served in the Navy on submarines during World War II.
