David James Mauricio Jr. , 16, of Astor died of injuries suffered in an 
automobile accident. Survivors include his father, David James Sr. of Brandon; 
his mother, Candice of Astor; a brother, Robert Joseph; two sisters, Nicolette 
Ruth Mauricio of Lakeland and Chelsea Candice Mauricio of Astor; his maternal 
grandmother, Ruth Huntsman of Astor; his paternal grandmother, Trudy Roth of 
Evergreen, Colo.; his paternal grandfather Joseph Francis  of Punta Gorda; a 
brother-in-law Dustin Dodd of Lakeland and his stepfather Walter Jones of Astor.

Additional Comments:
He was a member of the Baptist church.
