Helen Behnke Merrill, 82, of Lady Lake. Survivors include her husband, Stuart; 
five daugdhters, Sharon Merrill of Leesburg, Glenda (Dan) Bookey of Mt. 
Pleasant, Caroline Merrill of San Francisco, Sara (Jim) Thering of Mt. 
Pleasant, and Kathrine (Ron) Sluyter of Fenton, Mich.; her son, Wesley Merrill 
of Mt. Pleasant; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 
her sister Kay (Bob) Bates of Zephyhills and her sister-in-law Marj Behnke of 
Flint, Mont., and Cecil Behnke of Ft. Mead.

Additional Comments:
She worked in her husbands business, Merrill Drilling Company. 

also a member of First United Methodist church.



Burial in Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
