John W. Montgomery, 76, of Tavares. Survivors include his wife, Alice; son, 
Edward B. Doherty of Jacksonville; two daughters, Rita D. Hutson of Ellenwood, 
Ga., and Alice D. Rowley of Franklin, N.C.; one sister, Geraldine Stedman of 
Atlanta; and five grandchildren

Additional Comments:
He was a tape librarian for the IRS. He was also a Methodist and a World War II 
veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
