John F. Nelson, Sr. 91, of Oclawaha. Survivors include a son, John F. 'Jack' 
Jr. of Umatilla; a daughter, Ann N. Hall of Ocklawaha; a brother, William of 
Dallas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He ws one of the founders of Golden Gem Grower, serving as president and 
chairman of the board. He was a Presbyterian.   

He was a member of the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame. 

Funeral services held at the First United Methodist Church in Umatilla with 
the Rev.David Rawls and the Rev. Ballard Wilson and Pastor Cletus Stutzman 
officiating.
