Owen M. Oakes, 77, of Tavares. Survivors include his wife, Billie Oakes of 
Tavares; daughter, Billie  Oakes of Tavares; daughter, Mickey Accomando of 
Tavares sister, Louise Pratt of Costa Mesa, Calif.; two grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He waa an engineer for IRM Fire Insurance Co for over 20 years, and a member of 
Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis.



He was also a Navy veteran of World War II.



Services held at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Douglas officiating. 
Interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
