John Edward Odom, Sr.,72, of Fruitland park. Survivors include his wife, Elna; 
son, John E. of St. Petersburg; daughters, Carol Simpson of Mount Dora and 
Peggy Brown of Daytona beach; brother, Carl Samuel of Woodland, Ala.;  sister, 
Ruth Marie Anderson of Richland N.C.; and six grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was owner of  Custom Sheet Metal in Leesburg and a member of Beverly Shores 
Church of Christ.



Also a veteran of the U.S. Navy an world War II.



Funeral service held at the funeral home Chapel with Charles Nics and Roy 
Whitworth officiating.



Interment at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park.
