James D. Ownby, 75, of Eustis. Survivors include his wife, Vera M.; sons, James 
D. Jr. of Port Orange and Barry of New Smyrna Beach; daughters, Francine 
Applebee of Ft. Pierce, Mary Margaret Crawford and Amanda Lee Hotchkiss of New 
Smyrna Beach; 26 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired security guard for Lakeview Terrace retirement Center of 
Altoona an d a member of Community Life Baptist Church of Eustis.



Also a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
