Ruby M. Prater, 85, of Tavares. Survivors include her brothers, Richard 
Replogle of Elkhart and Berne Replogle of Pinellas Parkl sons, Gary Lee Cone 
of Cape Coral, Dennis Lyn Cone of Point Clear, Ala., Terry Louis Cone Tavares 
and Richard Sheldon Cone oa Vass, N.C.; dauhters, Sharel Ann Kidder of 
Harrison, Ark., and Jayna Ruth Story of Sorrento; step daughters, Sheila Mae 
Page and Paula Jane Shuman of Detroit; step sons, Glen Leroy Prater, Michael 
Alden Prater, William John Prater and Robert Aaron Prater, 16 grandchildren 
and 22 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
She wrote for the Elkhart Truth newspaper and the South Bend Tribune. She also 
worded as secretary to the maintenance director of Elkhart General 
Hospital.Also a correspondent with The Daily Commercial for more than two 
decades.

Funeral services held at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Walker and 
Brother Vince Figliolia officiating.
