William Byrum Routt, 88, of Leesburg. Survivors include his sons, Douglas B. of 
Amherst, N.Y., William A. of Pittsboro, N.C.; daughters, Evelyn  Warfel of 
Exton, pa., and Madeline Leetz of Scotts Valley, Calif.; brother, Don; 11 
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a vice president of a publishing company and was a Protestant.   He also 
was a veteran of U.S. Navy in World War II.
