Dr. Eugene E. Saffen, 76, of Mount Dora. Survivors include his one son, Eugene 
E. Jr. of Eustis; four daughters, Lacy Wrobel of Yalaha, Lesa M. Campbell of 
Umatilla, Phyllis DeLaney of Gainesville and Cathy S. Schwind of Orlando; two 
half-brothers, George Paterson of Mobil, Ala. Billy Kiner of Albany, Ga.; one 
sister, Vera Saye of Mobile, Ala.; three half-sisters, Connie Smith of 
Chunchula, Ala., Mary Bell Whitley of Jackson, Miss., and Kathy Drake of 
Beverly Hills; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Additional Comments:
He was a self-employed veterinarian in Mobile, Ala. and Cleveland, Tenn. He 
also served in the U.S. Navy in World War Ii.

Memorial service held at the funeral home Chapel with Rev. William E. Boyd 
officiating.
