John Phillip Sears, 49, of Tavares. Survivors include his mother, Harriet Sears 
of Tavares; four brothers, Richard and Judge Donald Sears, both of Baxley 
Calif., Robert of Fruitland Park and James of Umatilla; and three sisters, Aura 
Grimes of Baxley, Calif., Cordella LaRoe of Eustis and Dr. Elva Farell of 
Sarasota.

Additional Comments:
He was a construction worker in the oil industry and attended First United 
Methodist church of Tavares.
