DEATH NOTICE: William Joseph Shaner, of Umatilla. Survivors include his late 
wife, Nancy Penn and two daughters, Marjorie e. Shaner of New Hamburg, N.Y., 
and Karen Lee Penfield of Indianopolis, Ind. He began working at the American 
Can Company and became a Master Mechanic and was sent to their facilities in 
numerous U.S. Cities, Canada, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, troubleshooting and 
directing the setting up of new machine lines. Also survived by  a grandson and 
a great-grandson

Graveside memorial services held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
