Captain Philip H. Shanley, 79, of Leesburg. Survivors include his wife, 
Margaret C.; son, Philip H. Shanley Jr., of Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Catherine 
(Charles) Mannix of Clinton, Conn.; sisters, Patricia Unangst of Brantrock, 
Mass., and Mary Keding of Brantrock, Mass.; brother, William of Marshfield, 
Mass.; and six grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
He was a marine surveyor with the U.S. Navy and a veteran of World War II with 
the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Merchant Marines.
